Volunteer

At the moment the best way to get involved is through coming along to a Social Centre Group meeting (4th Tuesday of every month - see meetings and events) or through contacting one of the working groups.

We run work parties to work on aspects of construction when a lot of labour is needed which are advertised via the announcements email list and on the events page of this site. Outside of these work parties any assistance will be gratefully received, just get in touch - at the very least you'll get a cup of tea out of it.

Once the centre is fully up and running we'll need even more help to cover the shifts necessary to keep the place open. If you've any time that you can spare and you support what we're doing please consider volunteering.

If you have ideas for what you think the centre should be doing, but isn't, whether that's events we should be putting on, programmes we should be running, campaigns we should be supporting or whatever - come along and make it happen.
